Dawn Marie Ferris (Pollon) September 5, 1940-April 13, 2016. Born in Treherne, MB; passed away at her home in Port Coquitlam, BC. Forever missed by husband Colin, sons Kevin (Barbara) and Brent (Alison), and adored grandson Alder. Lovingly remembered by sister Barb Porter, brother-in-law Kevin Ferris (UK), and a loving extended family. Predeceased by her parents, Harry and Betty Pollon, brother-in-law Ken Porter and nephew Ronnie Porter. She worked for McMillan Bloedel and was a contented stay at home Mom. Dawn was an avid hockey fan and dedicated hockey Mom, she loved camping with her family in western Canada and later at the family place at Cultus Lake, BC; she enjoyed curling, was thoughtful and generous, never missed anyone’s birthday, never missed her favourite show, and was a loving grandma. A private family service will be held at a later date.
