Diane Louise Balatti

June 17, 1949 - May 25, 2016

Predeceased by her parents Fred Bockus & Jean Henderson, Diane is survived by her husband of 38 years Jim Balatti, daughters Stacey, Angie and Jenny, and son Chris; grandchildren Chelsea, Cody, Nic and Max; brother David (Ellan), niece Erin (James), nephew Cooper, great-nephew Jackson and sister-in-law Sheila.

Diane met, then married Jim in 1978, joining a family affectionately known as the "The Balatti Bunch". Diane, a longtime Juvenile Diabetic didn't let diabetes stop her from being a fabulous Mom, Wife, gourmet cook & loyal friend to all that know her. Diane a long time Burnaby resident volunteering for guides, soccer & lacrosse teams.

Her early years included Diabetic camp with Howie & Wendy and many joyful days at Birch Bay.

She enjoyed the beach, crabbing and socializing with family and friends, especially the Kennedys. Fun times included Curves fitness group, Double One Dinners, McKinley/Cole gatherings, and Coquitlam gang events.

Dipper touched the lives of all of us with her loving smile, strength & kindness. Her final thoughts were, “Pray for Peace, Love, and Joy”
