It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Dorothy Muriel Brisco (nee Dale) on September 11, 2023 in Coquitlam.
Dorothy was born on December 29, 1929 in Kindersley, SK to Arthur and Dorothy (Eva) Dale.
She moved to BC in 1950 where she met Robert (Bob) Brisco, they were married from 1951 until his passing in 2015.
Dorothy will be missed by her children Suzanne, Dale (Renee), Robyn (Dave), grandchildren; Shawna, Austin, Paige, Brooke, Taylor, Zakk and great-grandchildren; Colin and Colton.
Dorothy enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, sewing, knitting, needlepoint and baking.
After retirement she and Bob travelled to Europe and the Maritimes. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Dorothy touched so many lives, she was loved by everyone who met her. We want to thank all her friends and family who visited, called and remained in her life until the end.
A service will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Burkeview Chapel, 1340 Dominion Avenue in Port Coquitlam. Reception to follow.
