Alan Frank was born in 1947. Stan, wanting a better life for his family sought a new life in Canada in 1953. Finding work in Winnipeg, Enid and 6 yr old Alan joined him in a year later. The Winnipeg winters proved to be too harsh and the family moved to Vancouver in February 1957. Enid, having established excellent seamstress skills in England found work in the Sealy mattress factory, and continued to work in furniture upholstery throughout her life. Over the years they resided in Burnaby, Coquitlam and Port Moody retiring in Chilliwack in 1985. After 42 years of marriage Stan passed leaving Enid in Sardis, B.C. among supportive family, friends and neighbours. In 1999, Enid and Albert found each other and became a happy couple embarking on new adventures that took them travelling, dancing and cruising the oceans seas. Enid and Albert continued to make their home in Chilliwack until they moved into Maple Ridge Seniors Village in 2011. Finally in 2013 Enid and Albert celebrated their enduring love in marriage at the Seniors Village. Enid was loved and attended by her son Alan, delighted in the company of her grandchildren particularly thrilled with her new great grandson Johann. Albert remains the love of her life in eternity. Enid was a wonderful wife and mother and grandmother and will be sorrowfully missed by those who knew her. The family wishes to acknowledge the care, kindness and friendship of staff and residents of Maple Ridge Seniors Village.
