Uncle George with Cadel, we all miss him.

To the Gourlay family, I am belatedly sending my condolences for your loss.  I just came across George's obituary today, September 24, 2024, while researching my uncle George Gourlay.  My mother, Margaret Gourlay, was George's father, George Senior's younger sister, which makes George Junior my cousin.

We all grew up in southern Ontario, but I now live in White Rock.

I was thinking of Uncle George today when I made a grilled cheese sandwich, I remember how he use to put a heavy weight on top of the bread to make sure the cheese cooked. We still think about him from time to time and miss him, he has a heart of gold and was tremendously funny. Our youngest son's middle name is George and true to the name he is very funny and extremely outgoing  and kind to everyone.  Marylyn, I hope you're doing well and perhaps we could come by with the boys next year to say hello. Love Ken, Danielle, Cadel and Eddie.
