Born October 12,1937 in Canora, Saskatchewan, he is survived by his children Brian and Diane, grandchildren Faith and Alex and sisters Helen and Marion.
George moved to B.C. in the early 1960's and worked in Port Alice. He moved to Vancouver in the mid 1960's and worked briefly at the Okalla Prison Farm. In 1966 George began work at the Vancouver Police Department and retired in 1996. He moved to Maple Ridge, B.C. in 1975 and lived there until 2022 before moving to Coquitlam B.C.
