My beautiful brother Glenn of New Westminster, B.C. was carried by angels to his home in heaven on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018,
at the still young age of 53 and after a three year battle with colon cancer.
He joins his mother Theresa and his father Stan who predeceased him.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his sister Michelle, brother-in-law Derek, family and friends.
Glenn was born in New Westminster. He called Port Coquitlam home, up until September 2007, when he moved back to his birth city.
He was a employed by The City of Vancouver (COV) in the Engineering Dept. Streets Division.
In December 2017 he received his 25 year service award.
Glenn enjoyed working at COV. He made lasting friendships there. He was a prankster and liked to keep people guessing.
He attended many music concerts and just as many sports events. His favourite band was The Beatles, his favourite hockey team The Philadelphia Flyers.
He enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and reading about B.C. history.
Glenn will be missed in this world but we know he is at peace and being well looked after in the Garden of Heaven with Our Lord.
Until we meet again Glenn.
Your loving sister, Michelle.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Glenn on Saturday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Burkeview Chapel in Port Coquitlam, the town where we grew up.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Glenn, may be made to the B.C. Cancer Agency and would be greatly appreciated.
