After his mom passed he shared his later childhood years with his Uncle Bill, Aunt Eileen and cousins Marjorie and Chuck and sisters Lorna and Gail. Gord worked at Firestone, Mohawk Oil and Harbour Cruises. A special thank you to Sam, Yayoi, James, Tony and Barb for continuing to check on him during his lengthy hospital stay - you made his days brighter.
Gord and Marion enjoyed many camping adventures in Western Canada and Western United States plus many wonderful holidays in Mexico. They discovered Huatulco Mexico in the early 90’s and were fortunate to travel there many times where they made many friends.
Gord also enjoyed curling with the Port Moody Senior Men’s Curling Club where he not only curled but managed the finances.
Gord also was a loving ”Dad” to Poppi and Ashli - we love you Dad!
Gord spent the past year bravely fighting health issues. He never complained but carried himself with strength and dignity.
Gord will be missed - we love you.
