He will be lovingly remembered by Carole, his wife of 67 years, and three generations of family:
Children: Linda (Gary), Connie (Alan) and Mark (Nita).
Grandchildren: Jordan (Chantale), Serena (Chris), Adam, Steve (Paige), Alicia (Geoff), Kiran (Peter).
Great-Grandchildren: Grayson, Charlotte, Paisley, Kinsley, Ryland, Allison, Henri, Hannah, Bronson, Nadiya and Aliya.
He was born on February 24, 1937, to parents Joseph and Alexandrine (nee Barsalou) on their family farm in Mariapolis, Manitoba. He was the sixth of ten siblings and a part of him remained a farm-boy at heart.
He grew to be a skilled, innovative tradesman, and an exceptional, gracious man who valued love, family and friendship above all else. He was and remains a patriarch to his family and will be missed so very, very much.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Burkeview Memorial Services, 1340 Dominion Ave, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3B 8G7, CA, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
