Cherished son, protective brother and uncle, loving devoted dad, dedicated friend, inspiring avid hockey player. Lived, breathed Silver & Black RAIDERS 4 EVAH! Predeceased by his niece Kalynna Dawn; Great Baba Chorpita, and Grandma Betty. Survived by his loyal dog/best friend Stan; his mom Dawn (Menny); his sister Layne; his son Theodore (Theo) Jamie; Theo’s mother Melissa (with whom he spent many years with); as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jamie will be forever missed, deeply loved, and cherished by his mom (Menny); his sister Layne; his son Theo. Jamie was over the moon when Theo was born; he was never as happy and content as when he was holding Theo. That bond continued on the ice as Jamie shared his love of hockey with Theo, teaching him to skate and play, even coaching him for a while.
Jamie had an easy-going nature and cared deeply about his close friends, many of whom he had known since high school, especially the BB's (You know who you are) ♥. Jamie’s love for hockey led him and his friend Blake to form their own team, the RADLEYS. Not surprisingly, they won the championship their first year.
Every year, Jamie and his buddy (bro) Ric drove to Oakland, CA, for the home opener of the OAKLAND RAIDERS, Jamie’s favorite team. He lived, breathed, and loved silver and black. RAIDER NATION BABY!! On their last trip to Oakland, Jamie and Uncle Ric brought Theo along for the home opener, staying with their Oakland family and having a silver and black blast—Raider style.
One of Jamie’s favorite things was making his sister Layne laugh. They had their own way of communicating and making each other laugh, a special brother-sister bond. Jamie loved HIP HOP, but he also loved LED ZEP because of his Menny’s ZEPPELIN heart. Jamie had aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved and knew loved him back!
• Uncle Ken: "How's the Jamer?"
• The t-shirt Jamie loved from Uncle Ralph: "SAY SHIT JAMIE"
• As kids, cousin Cori asking, "Are you going to peel that kiwi before you eat it?” ♥♥♥
