I first met Linda at Chilliwack Senior Secondary. She was so friendly and always accepted people where they were at - no judgements. I believe this had a lot to do with her faith.

Thank you Linda for giving the smile across the room, helping everyone feel welcome and being that light in dark spaces.

You made a difference in many lives. You will be missed.

I’m very sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. I knew her in school at Robertson Elementary and CSSS and played ball with her for a few years as a kid while her dad coached. 
I remember her as being very kind, good in school and had one heck of a throwing arm as a catcher.

You were one of my favorite neighbors on Woodbine Street. RIP my friend. Condolences to her family.

Linda will be deeply missed. She had a big heart and was an encourager. We worked together in the same department at UGM for several years. I was personally blessed by her kindness.  Numerous times over the years she left a little gift or an encouraging note on my desk. Not many people think to encourage those who are in senior management, but Linda shared her loving nature with all of us equally.

I live in Alberta and Linda and myself always did our best to see each other at least once a year.She was a great Auntie to Grace.Here she is pictured coming to a swimming lesson. After she met John, they would travel to Alberta together to also visit his family.Grace loved being spoiled by her Auntie.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of Lynda. During the time I was able to spend by her side, I learned lessons that I truly needed to learn. I know that God sent me to you for that purpose. In the same way, I know that she is now in the Kingdom of God, at peace and finally free from suffering.

Linda my Love I have accepted that you are gone. No more pain and suffering. You are now in Heaven. You were a Beautiful soul. Selfless, Loving, compassionate. Always putting other peoples needs first. An advocate for the under dog. Even when you were struggling living with ALS. 
But the Love I had for you never learned how to leave. It lives quietly in the corners of my heart, showing up in moments that I never expect, I see your smile in strangers, hear your voice in passing conversations, feel your warmth in memories that refuse to fade. I do not hold on to out of hope, but out of something deeper, something that still believes in what we had. Some Love does not dissappear. It softens, it shifts, it finds new ways to exist. I carry my Love for you gently now, knowing that it belongs to a time that has already passed, yet still shapes the man I am becoming.  Rest in Peace my love.

Linda  was a stronger woman i have ever met in my life. I was her caretaker and i had saw her depleting each week but still she never looses herself throughout. Even i was with her at her last breath. May god bless her with another beautiful life And give her family and husband strength for the rest of their life. He was her biggest supporter from the day she was suffering and take care of her till her last day with pure love.

Our beloved sister-in-law, Linda, had a deep love for God, and her faith guided every part of her life. She cherished her family and showed her love through constant care, prayer, and selfless devotion. Her life reflected Christ’s compassion, patience, and grace in both word and deed. Though our hearts mourn her loss, we find comfort knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served. Her love for God and family will continue to inspire us always.

December 24th, 2024 (Momma's birthday) our family went to Wards Christmas Candle Lighting Service. Momma always loved going to this festive event. Momma's hands were tired and unable to hold the candle. Deep down I wanted her to be apart of the event so Momma and I held the candle together. Everyone was singing songs and I just cried. I knew Momma was at peace and full of so much happiness. One day Momma's candle would burn out as this disease is beyond awful. I would continue to keep her candle burning and all of her memories alive.

My heart is saddened deeply that you are gone. Hurting for the huge loss of your beautiful soul 😢. Even though there had been gaps of time  when we saw each other,  it was like no time had passed when we did. You were always such a dear friend to me and your spirit full of Gods love and warmth. You had the warmest hugs. Oh Linda 😢 you are missed. Your love for God was so big and so deep and real. I can’t stop crying at the thought of not seeing you again, yet I know you are at peace and being held by our Saviour in Heaven. May God comfort you and your family/friends greatly during this time. ❤️❤️❤️ You will forever be remembered and loved ❤️❤️❤️

Words can't express how much I love you. I am so thankful for all of our beautiful memories together. Our laughs, adventures, chats, and so much more.  No matter where we are in life, you are forever in my heart. You are now my beautiful angel guiding me in life. We will see each other again one day. Until then, please give Grandpa a hug from me. Our sincerest condolences to Linda's entire family. We are honoured to have had Linda a loving part of our family.  She always referred to us as Mom and Dad and she was a huge help and support to us when we lost our own daughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with those whose lives were blessed having known this amazing lady.

Linda had great faith in God to take care of her and all her needs. She impressed me with her notes, thoughts, and column notes in her Bible!  The sisters in Faith at Ward never stopped praying for our lovely Linda.  She’s home with the Lord. HE answered.

Sept 8, 2024 was a beautiful sunny Sept day to share in an outside service with church members and community. Linda looked so beautiful on that special Sunday - dressed to the 10’s accompanied by Charlene & John. Oh and her writing pad/pen - so we could talk away!  Beautiful day!!!

Linda enjoyed her family and friends immensely - when Charlene visited in Sept 2024 and stayed with the Wiggins - Linda said how grateful and special her visit was!  The LOVE was beautiful. Real!  And so welcomed!  I’ll never forget that Sunday. The joy on Linda’s face!!

My Friend Linda was generous in so many ways, and people mattered to her. Her love and service to others especially when they were suffering, was absolutely supernatural. I was lucky to walk with Linda as a colleague and friend, but now I know I have an angel watching out for me.  Great love to John, Arlis and Coralee. 
I will always remember you Linda- Warrior Woman.

Linda was a beautiful soul.My heart has loved her as my sister for close to 40 years.She had a deep love for Jesus and her faith carried her through her life.I will miss her everyday, but I find comfort knowing she is an angel in heaven with Jesus.

I am deeply saddened by her passing, but grateful for the beautiful example of Christ’s love she showed to everyone she met. She lived a life of service, compassion, and humility, especially through her volunteer work at UGM. It was an honour to work and volunteer alongside her. She and John were truly some of the kindest people I have ever known. I take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. My prayers are with John and the entire family during this time.
