Mrs. Mary Ann Sotelo

SOTELO, Mary Ann November 16, 1949 – December 19, 2015Mary Ann was a magically generous woman who touched so many of us with her golden heart. She always put people ahead of her despite any situation. She will always be remembered by her endless love for her family and friends. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines by her parents, Rosendo and Ines Mendoza. She was predeceased by her late husband, Carlos Sotelo and survived by her three beautiful daughters, Anne Marie, Yvette, and Ruby, her sons-in-law, Wesley and Alvin and her many grandchildren Kianna, Dante, Marcellus, and Maiya. Mary Anne is the youngest of six children, Tessie, Zenaida, Erlinda, Araceli, and Emmanuel. "That we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us" –Helen Keller A Visitation will be held on December 29, 2015 at Burkeview Chapel at 1340 Dominion Avenue in Port Coquitlam from 6-8 p.m. Mass will be held at St. Luke's Parish at 20285 Dewdney Trunk Road in Maple Ridge on December 30 at 11:30 a.m. followed by the Burial Service at Ocean View Burial Park at 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby at 2 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, the family would ask for a donation to Vancouver Children's Hospital.
