BLAIR, Robert William (Bert)May 15, 1919 – January 18, 2016Bert was born in Vancouver, B.C. and pioneered with his parents in Ioco, B.C. where he worked for Imperial Oil for 37 years. He participated in World War II in a Submarine Detector and also mined in Alaska. He was an avid golfer and a sports fan who loved to travel particularly to Vegas and Reno with all his buddies. He walked to work, walked at work, walked home and after retirement he walked every day. Bert was loved by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. No service will be held at his request. In lieu of flowers donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
