It is with great sadness that the family of Sarah Helena (Serena) Smyth announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Eagle Ridge Hospital. Serena will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter Pat, and sons David (Jane) and Gary (Laureen). She was predeceased by her husband Brian.
Serena will also be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters and sister-in-laws, brothers and brother-in-law. Serena loved to travel with Brian and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Many thanks to the many doctors and nurses and other medical staff at Eagle Ridge Hospital who took great care of Serena. Special thanks to Dr. Morley and RN Jay.
