

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Filippelli, long time Tri-City resident.
Terry grew up in Coquitlam, graduating from Centennial Secondary School. Growing up he was an Alter boy at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Port Moody, a boy scout, played minor hockey, and was extensively involved with competitive swimming and lifeguarding having received the highest swimming certificate offered in the commonwealth, signed by the Queen's representative.
Throughout his life, his love of travel took him to over 58 countries and he was also an award winning local artist.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Terry is survived by his wife Debbie, his children Alex, James, Terrilynn and Ashley and his six grandchildren Diego (21), Madelyn (18), Kai (14), Rowan (14), Kingston (8), and Nathan (2).
He is predeceased by his parents Patricia and Donald Filippelli and his Stepson Jamie.
A Celebration of Life for Terry will be held on Friday, April 26th at 11am at the Burkeview Chapel on Dominion Ave in Port Coquitlam.
