Betty Jean Miller

Betty Jean Miller, of Binghamton, 82, went to be in the arms of the Lord on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Jean was pre deaceased by her parents, Stanley & Hilda Stone, brother, Ralph Stone, and god mother, Dorothy Szachara. Jean is survived by her loving husband, Walter J. Miller, her two loving daughters, Marion & Gene Brown, of Gray, GE., Etta & Carl Hoffmann, of Montrose, PA., Sisters; Lucille & Bill Woodrow, Arlene& Harry Shanar, brothers-in-law; Louis A. & Helen Miller, Henry Miller several nieces and nephews, very dear friends; Penny & Carlos Echevarria, Billy & Gail Califf, Leon (PeeWee) Stringham, Kenny Hoffmann, Frank & Charlotte Hoffmann, Elinor & Peter Latta and many more dear friends. Jean was a former member of St. Christophers Church, where she was completely active in all functions as a parishoner. She loved traveling, camping, long rides and dining out. Jean was a devout, wife mother and friend, she was a "Jill" of all trades, to know her was to love her, she will be dearly missed by many. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. The family will recieve friends at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, NY 13901 on Sunday, September 31, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM
