Beverly A. Knapp(nee Clapper), passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. She was born in Binghamton NY, the daughter of Henry D. and Dorothy G. Clapper. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, John, Walter and Stanley. Her stepson Alan Kelley and loving sister in law, Evelyn Clapper.
She is survived by her four sons, David Kelley(Lisa), Robert Kelley, Brian Kelley(Victoria), Richard Knapp(Julie) and her stepdaughter Renee Kelley.Her husband Thomas Knapp also survives. Her 16 grandchildren; Shawn, David, Michelle, Tyson, Tia, Angel, Jenny, Elizabeth, Jimbo, Makayla, Shyanne, Brittany, Richard, Mitchell, Emma and Dylan. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and two brothers, Pearly (Junior)Clapper and Leon Andrus and his wife Delores. Numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember Aunt Bev.
She was a retired employee of the Binghamton Psychiatric Center with 25 years of service. After she retired she enjoyed her summers at Cook Pond with her motorhome. Spending time with her much beloved dog, Lucky, was a great source of happiness for her. She was an excellent baker and always made sure her boys had cookies during hunting season.
The family would like to thank all of those who offered words of encouragement, love and support the last week. She loved you and appreciated everything.
*The family is requesting friends and family to meet at Windsor High School by 10:30 am in order to follow to the cemetery.
Services will be held graveside at Lamb Cemetery, Jackson Pa on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 12pm.
