Billy Yang, or “Yangzuz” as he liked to call himself, died on Sunday morning, October 17th, 2021. He lives on through his parents, Sung, Corinna, and Rosa; his siblings, Brian, Kamlan, Vivian, Victoria, Hayes, and Brianna; his cousins, Valerie and Connie; his niece, Luna; many other loving family members; too many friends to list out in the local paper; and his very best friend and confidante in the entire universe, his daughter, Aria.
Those who loved him knew that he fancied the finest things in life, from having the latest model of just about everything to always making sure he was the suavest person in the room. If you had the privilege of sharing a meal with him or being his friend on Snapchat, you knew that he loved to eat and eat passionately. He was always hungry, for a steaming bowl of pho but also for bettering himself, never ceasing to search for new ways to be the best man, son, brother, friend, and dad that he could be. He was larger than life, generous beyond compare, and relentlessly loyal. If he considered you his family, there was no force on planet earth that could stop him from showing up and showing out if you needed him. To his daughter, he was nothing short of Superman.
It was his lifelong dream to start his own semi-eponymous acai-bowl business, B Juicy, and he is likely opening up his first storefront in heaven or eating like a king as you read this.
His celebration of life will be held at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Sunday, October 24th, 2021, at 2 p.m.
