

Carol Slater of Binghamton, New York passed away unexpectedly on November 24th, 2020 and joined her partner of thirty-five years, Pamela Westbrook, who passed away in 2018. Carol is also predeceased by her father Robert Slater, brother Frank Slater I, step-brother Clinton Franklyn Jr, step-sister Eileen Franklyn, step-father Clinton Franklyn Sr. and her sister-in-law Carla Westbrook.
Carol is survived by her mother Janice G. Slater, brothers Earl Slater and Robert (Nancy) Slater Jr, sisters: Betty (Ned) Woodruff, Beverly Slater, Helen Slater, Shirley Slater (Dana Ramey), Janice Slater (William Simmons), step-brothers Joseph Franklyn and Kenneth Franklyn, step-sister Eloise Franklyn and brother-in-law Lee (Debbie) Westbrook. Carol is also survived by countless nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews and many special friends including Bob and Sherene, Randy and Jen, Evelyn and Tom, and Rick, as well as many other neighbors.
Carol enjoyed playing cards and board games, watching wrestling, Dancing with the Stars and the Masked Singer. She also enjoyed drawing and coloring and loved sharing her artwork with others. In honor of Carol’s request: she wished to be cremated and buried in Windsor, NY with her brother Frank.
