Carolyn L. Houck

Binghamton: Carolyn L. Houck of Binghamton, 74, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her 3 brothers and her son Dana Houck. Carolyn is survived by her sons, Earl Rosenkrans Jr. and Mary Lou Fahs, Mike Rosenkrans, Jeff & Carol Rosenkrans, all of Brackney, Frank Houck of Binghamton; many grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Mahoney; brothers, Sonny and Vangie Baker, Dale and Bea Baker; also several nieces and nephews and the extended Houck family, special friends Bonnie & Dick Stika and dearest friend, Ellie Frantellizzi, who was always there for her, her true friend. Carolyn had many hobbies and talents including cooking, song writing and story telling, and picking up bargains at a garage sale. She enjoyed Christmans and made gift-giving an important part of her life. Carolyn was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by many. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, NY 13901 Interment will be in the Brookdale Cemetery, Brookdale, PA at the convenience of her family.
