Cora Rose (O'Connor) Brown of Binghamton, 95, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, she was born in Wellsboro, PA., to the late Alfred & Hazel (Fox) O'Connor. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Ruth, Ray & Alfred. Cora was a graduate of Johnson City High School and Charles S. Wilson Nursing School in 1941. She served her county in the armed forces as a 1st LT. Sept. 1, 1943- Feb. 21, 1946. Survivors include her daughter, Karen; son, Lawrence & Connie; grandson, Jason & Andy; granddaughter, Christine and her daughter, Alexandra Palmerton; sister, Lillian Bolter; sister-in-law, Beatrice O'Connor; also several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10:00AM-1:00 PM at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson, NY 13901. A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday at 1:30 PM at the Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
