

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Eva Pecha; paternal grandparents, Kip Osborn and Mildred (John) Goga; and his best friends, Coco Puffs and Dallas. He is survived by his children, Jay, Dennis E. Goga III, and Caden; longtime girlfriend, Colleen McLaughlin; parents, Dennis E. and Mary T. Goga, Sr.; sisters, Michele (Gary) Slocum, and Michaelene Christian (Brian Wallace); nephews, Devin Ellis, and Jacob Christian; niece, Sydney Christian; and great-niece, Dani. He is also survived by many friends and extended family members.
Denny was a 1986 graduate of Chenango Forks High School. He was an entrepreneur, and owned several businesses, including The Phat Taco, Imperial Frozen Foods, and Karaoke by Denny G. He was a popular radio DJ locally on WHWK, and on Pirate Radio in FL. Denny had a wonderful zest for life and made everyone who knew him laugh. He lived life to the fullest. He had a great love for music and animals and always showed his compassion for everyone. He will fondly be remembered saying "Rock On!"
A visitation will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St, Port Dickinson, New York 13901. There will be no formal funeral service, however, family and friends are invited to share a memory at 11:30am. Denny will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove Drive, Chenango Forks, NY. Following the burial, his family will receive friends and family for a luncheon in Dennis' honor at the KAA Field, State Route 12 Chenango Forks from 1pm-3pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Denny with a memorial contribution to the Broome County Humane Society.
