Donald G. Holtzmaster, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents Harry & Dorothy Holtzmaster; brothers Kenny, Carl, and Walter Holtzmaster and sisters Margurite Harrington, Dorothy Barnes, Ruth Gow and MaryJane Brainard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Shirley Holtzmaster; son Jeffrey (Nancy) Holtzmaster, Lisa Sickles and Kelly Hornbeck; grandchildren, James, Carolyn, Michelle (TJ), Matthew and Andrew; and two great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend Henry “Hank” Trasolini.
Donald was a graduate of Binghamton High School and Broome Community College. He was a US Navy Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was a retired employee of Singer Link. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and golfing.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Tuesday October 28, 2025, from 1-2pm, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2pm.
