Matousek, Douglas B., Jr.Binghamton: Age 44, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on December 3, 2014. He was predeceased by his uncle, Dick Ryan. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Matousek; father and stepmother, Douglas B. and Randi Matousek Sr.; sisters, Laurie Pelcak and Lynn, Kelsey and Lindsey Matousek; step-sister, Kira Axtell Walker; nephews, Wyatt Kerchner, Kyle Pelcak; niece, Julianne Pelcak; ex wife and special friend, Hailey Friedman; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug loved to laugh, enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, especially his nephews and niece. He loved history, government and politics, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed skiing. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 11-12 noon at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, NY. A funeral will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
