

Elizabeth “Betty” Stevens, 72, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 after a brief illness with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence C. Stevens, Jr., her parents, Stanley & Marian Skiba and her sister Jean Marie Cipriano. She is survived by her daughters, Aimee & Kevin Dailey, Connie & Ward Palmer, Cynthia & Michael Thomas; grandchildren, Kyle & Kelli Palmer & Kara & Robert Gratton and Skylar & Michaela Thomas; great grandchildren Kayden & Kinley Palmer; brother-in-law Anthony Cipriano several nieces and nephews including a very special niece Kristen Cipriano.
Betty was a long time member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Binghamton. She was a retired employee of the Broome County Board of Elections. In her early years she was an active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and is currently a member of the Elks Club Lodge 70 in Kirkwood and the Kirkwood Seniors. She enjoyed playing BINGO, traveling and going to the casino but most of all she loved to travel with her husband Clarence and her daughter Aimee and spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Wednesday October 19, 2022 from 4-6pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10:00 am at Christ Episcopal Church, Binghamton. Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
