Gerald took genuine satisfaction in his work and especially enjoyed his job at Wegman’s. In a world that can often feel hurried and demanding, he carried himself with a steady, straightforward spirit—someone who did not seek to complicate life, but to live it with calm clarity and simple sincerity.
Outside of work, Gerald found pleasure in the small and familiar joys that made his days his own. He was an avid collector of nick nacks, enjoyed watching *The Big Bang Theory*, and loved the music of the 60’s and 70’s. He also enjoyed going to music festivals, especially jam bands—drawn to the easy rhythm of live music and the sense of shared enjoyment it brings.
Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Buell, and his granddaughter, Meadow Buell. He is survived by his sons, Bradly Buell and Jerod Buell (Laura); and his grandchildren, Kennedi, Nadiya & Coraline Buell.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
