

Gloria Buonocore, 73, went to join the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2012 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Buonocore and her parents, Sam and Kitty Heyman. She is survived by her children, Theresa and Blaise Coco, Philadelphia PA; Robin and Charles Mott, Chenango Bridge, NY; Dawn and Doug Haven, Boca Raton, FL; Cherylann and Michael Taramykin, Lake Mary, FL; Carolyn and Michael Showalter, Apalachin, NY; grandchildren, Karen and John Orrio; Joshua Haven, Katherine and Andrew Taramykin, Krysondra Willms, Rachel and Lena Showalter; sisters, Barbara and Hillel Pitlik, CA; Joan and Stu Zimmer, Long Island, NY; also 5 nephews. Gloria was a retired employee of Rehabilitation Associates and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was also a founding member of the Southern Tier Tea Party and was actively involved in St. Catherine and St. Francis of Assisi as a religious education teacher, Eucharistic Minister and co-founder of their bereavement ministry and RCIA.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 17, 2012 at 9:15 AM at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY and continue at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
