loving dad, Harry T. Sayer
Jr. passed away peacefully
at home on October 8,
2018, surrounded by his
family.
Harry was predeceased
by our mother, the love
of his life and wife of 62
years, Beulah Sayer, his
parents Harry and Nellie
Sayer and sister Gertrude.
He is survived by two sons Tom Sayer (Pam),
Jim Sayer(Betty) and his daughter Nancy Enright
(Dan). Grandsons, Aaron, Harry, Charlie, Jack,
Danny, Curtis, Andrew, and Ben. Granddaughter
Jennifer, and several great grandchildren. He also
leaves behind his faithful dog, Pepper.
Harry served four years in the US Marine Corp
and was called back to serve in the Korean War
in 1950.
Our parents started their life together in Hillcrest
NY where they spent many happy years. He
participated in his family’s lives through the Boy
Scouts, Little League, Ogden Hillcrest UMC, and
many other community activities.
For 42 years, he was a familiar face at First City
National Bank in Binghamton, NY, retiring in
1989 from what eventually became Chase Bank,
as an Assistant VP.
We will be forever grateful to have been blessed
with the best father anyone could ever ask for and
we will carry his wisdom, humor, compassion and
unwavering love with us for the rest of our lives.
At his request there will be no calling hours and
a memorial service will be held at a future date.
