Howell Donald Larnerd

Howell Donald Larnerd, age 88, of Binghamton, New York passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 with family by his side. He was a great man to many friends and family. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Gary Arnold from Sandston, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Polly and Sam Debellis of Binghamton, NY; brother, Robert Larnerd of Endicott, NY; and 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Staub and Gary Orme. He was pre-deceased by his son, Michael Larnerd; parents, Donald and Jennie Larnerd; brothers, Donald "Butch" Larnerd, Jr. and Ronald Larnerd; sisters, Betty Staub and Sharon Orme; and sister-in-law, Vicki Larnerd. He was loved unconditionally by his daughter and son-in-law, and all family members and friends, including his neighbors and great friends, Charlie and Patti Smith.

Howell graduated from North High School and Broome Community College. He served with the New York National Guard for 7 years. He retired from CFD in Conklin, NY after 43 years of service. He enjoyed going to casinos, the YMCA, and spending time with his family. He was also a longtime member of St. Cyril-Saint Methodius Church and belonged to Moose Lodge #1645. Howell was also very active with The Boys & Girls Club for many years. He will be loved and missed forever.
