

Oneonta, NY - It is with great sadness that the family of Jason Warne announces his passing on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the age of 38. He is predeceased by his stepfather, John Wood, grandmother, June Murdock, grandparents Ellen and Burr Warne, and Uncle Dave Warne.
Jason is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Warne and his beautiful twins, Emma and Jacob, his step daughters Kyra, Payton, and Leah. He is also survived by his parents Susan Wood and Stephen Warne, sister Nichole Warne and stepsister Amie (Dmitriy) Redko. Also survived by in-laws Lori Schoonover (Fred) and Robert Horton (Susan). Also survived by his grandfather, Charles Murdock and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Jason graduated from Chenango Valley High School and also attended Broome Community College. He resided in Oneonta with his wife and children and worked in construction and landscaping.
Jason loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping with his family and teaching his children a love for the outdoors. Jason loved sports and could be found on Sundays training his children to love the Miami Dolphins. He was a kind, gentle, and compassionate person with a warm smile for everyone he met. Jason's great passion in life was his children. He was a dedicated and loving father who devoted all of his time and energy to his kids.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY, Friday, June 1, 2018 from 1-3pm. Graveside services will immediately follow at North Fenton Cemetery. In honor of Jason's love of sports those in attendance are requested to wear or display Miami Dolphins team colors of orange and teal.
