Joseph A. Vredenburgh, 47, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Grace and Andy Vredenburgh and maternal grandparents Hulda & John Lupka. He is survived by his son Joseph Vredenburgh; parents Robert & Susan Vredenburgh; brother Robert Vredenburgh & Tina Conpropst; sisters Lori Vredenburgh and Amy Vredenburgh Howard; niece Bobbi Sue and nephews Chad, Aiden and Brodie; several aunts, uncles and cousins and his former wife and mother of his son Joey, Amanda McIntyre-Silvanic. Joseph was a graduate of the Chenango Forks High School where he excelled as a football player and wrestler. He and his friends/teammates competed at the State level in many competitions. He was an employee of Page Seed Company where he developed many valued and lasting friendships. Joe loved spending time with his beloved son Joey hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing games of backyard football. He was a devoted father, son and brother who brought humor, laughs and smiles everywhere he went. The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4-6pm. A Celebration of Life will be held later this Summer.
