Josephine A. Hull, 75, surrounded by the family blessed by her powerful and unconditional love, Josephine Hull flew into the waiting arms of her Savior at 10:43 pm Thursday, January 31, 2013, just seven days after her 75th birthday. Josephine joins in eternal paradise her husband Jim, who went to prepare a place for her in 2005, her parents, Francis and Luella Caruse, her uncles, John and Ben Fletcher and many others who assist Josephine as she gets used to her wings. She is survived by her children, Debra Frederick, Sharon Blabac, Pamela (Richard) Clark, James (Elizabeth) Hull Jr., and Joseph Hull; her adoring grandchildren, Matt, Rick, Jeremy, Jennifer, Amy, Brian, Sarah, Heather Annabeth and Molly; great-grandchildren, Nate, Ciera, Tyler, Brenden, Alaina, and Jayna; sisters, Chris (Dale) Chubb, Dot (Jerry) Davies; brother and sisters-in-law, Tom (Fran) Hull, Nina Pilgrim, Sherry Haskell, Judy Dawes, along with many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. Josephine was a retired employee of Robintech and had attended St. Mary's Church, Kirkwood. She was a wonderfully loving person with a very generous spirit and a ready laugh. She was also amongst the world's best cooks! To know her was to love her, and so many did and do. While her passing was sudden and sad, it was peaceful and mercifully without suffering. Jospehine's family wishes to thank the staff at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center, in particular Dr. Wacendak for taking such kind care of Mom during her last day on Earth. We look forward to the day when we can hold her again. Until then, as mom always requested at the end of phone conversations, we"ll "give her babies lots of kisses for her."
A funeral mass will be offered on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church in Kirkwood. Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY 13901.
