Lawrence "Larry" Butts

He is survived by his loving wife Cora of almost 70 years. He is also survived by his son Terry Butts, his adopted children Merrie & Rob Warner, and his adopted grandchildren Nikaya, Jenica, Terea, Savannah, Caryssa and Shoshonna; his sister & brother-in-law Mary & Dennis Loucks; brother-in-law Bill, Jerry, Eugene & Carl; sisters-in-law Sue and Marcella; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend Nick Wright.

Lawrence was a United States Army Veteran. He retired from the NYS DOT after 27 years of service. He enjoyed listening to country and western music, reading Louis La’More books, taking walks with is wife, watching the pond change colors and watching the hot air balloons fly over his home.

We would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Vestal Park Nursing Home for the care and kindness Larry received.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, 11am at the North Afton United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the North Afton Cemetery.
