Loretta M. Harden

Windsor - Loretta Mary Harden, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was born in 1926 in Binghamton to the late Sheldon and Paulina (Pickering) Wright. In 1947, on her 21st birthday, she married Lloyd F. Harden and together raised eight children.

Loretta is predeceased by her husband Lloyd, son Kim, great grandchildren Megan and Tristan Haight, her brother Daniel Wright and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

Loretta is survived by her children Keith & Barbara Harden, Kenneth & Noreen Harden, Paula and Tim Mahar, Karla & John Hartman, Kevin Harden, Bryon Harden, Penny & Alan Angevine and daughter-in-law Dianna Harden. She is survived by 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brother-in-law Karl Harden, sisters-in-law Ella Joyce Rossi and Ione Harden and many nieces and nephews. Loretta enjoyed making handmade gifts for everyone by knitting, crocheting, and cross stitching them. She loved spending time with her family who will dearly miss her. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Ramaujan, Dr. Liu and the Diabetic Care Associates.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11am in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 1-3pm.
