She enjoyed going with Duane each winter for 20 years to Bahr’s M. H. Park in Zephyrhills, Fl where they had many exceptional caring friends. She also enjoyed making Sunday family meals, reading, playing cards, bingo, dancing and going to casinos. Surprisingly, she deer hunted with Duane and was very successful at it! She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a woman of strong faith and ALWAYS saw the good in others. She was willing to listen and offer advice when asked. Peggy also took great pride and joy in her magnificent Christmas Village display that she loved having family, friends, neighbors, and especially children over to see.
We would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Absolut Center of Endicott, especially the Memory Care Unit for giving our mom so much love, compassion and exceptional care. We are very grateful to the community of the small town of Tunnel, NY for welcoming and loving the Roe family as part of their own 65 years ago!
