I was so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing.  I always remember her bright smile and genuine interest in others.  I am a Coach for LLS (Team in Training) and have already made a donation to a friend earlier this week in Kathy's memory.  Next June I will ride 100 miles with TNT in Kathy's memory.  Prayers to you all.

I loved her too.  I considered her my best friend from about 4th grade through high school and a long time after...

Brian, Erin and the entire Stiles family as well as Buddie and John, I was deeply saddened when I heard of Kathy's passing. May she rest in peace with Sully, Mary and the rest of her family. I think that Kathy is probably the first person that I ever remember meeting outside of my own family. We spent many times together in our two back yards growing up on Pearne and Virgil streets. I know that our friendship kept on through our entire adult lives. I don't remember a time there wasn't a Kathy, I am sure I will see her again someday and so will all of you. In the meantime I am sure that our Lord has put Kathy in charge of entertaining the whole Kingdom so she will be a very busy woman. God bless Kathy and all of your families.

Your family holds a very dear place in my heart and it aches for you all now as you endure the pain of passing Kathy back to God.  Some of my favorite childhood/teen memories include you and your mom.  Kathy ALWAYS took the time to sit down and just check in with us silly kids and if she didn't have an answer to our dilemma of the day she would at least make us laugh.  And although many years have passed since I've seen Kathy, the impression she left on my heart and my life will be the legacy she leaves with me.  With all my love and prayers.

My heart sinks with sorrow at the lost of Kathy.  She was so often a beacon of light and joy.  Her kindness and reassuring, "Now calm down, everything is going to be OK" comments helped me through many trying times.  She knew the important things in life was not what job you had or how much money you made. Rather, how much you loved your family and cared for the people in and around your life.  Her laughter, smile, and the flashes of joy in her eyes will truly be missed.  Though our faith teaches us that she is forever in the arms of our Lord; it is still hard to say goodbye.
