Maryann E. Follette

Maryann E. (McAndrew) Follette, of Binghamton New York, passed away peacefully in her home, on Thursday September 3, 2026, after battling Alzheimer's and Dementia over the past 10 years.  Maryann was 87 years old and was born on April 20, 1939, in Susquehanna Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Frances and Joseph McAndrew, sister to the late Joseph A. McAndrew and John McAndrew. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth E. Follette.

   She is survived by her only daughter Mary and Daniel Giannicchi; her grandchildren, Amanda Follette, and Simon and Sarah Mix; her great grandchildren, Shane Follette and his fiance Karisa S., and Elton Richards Follette; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Maryann (a.k.a. Gammer) was a devoted, kind caring woman with a heart of gold, a loving army wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, the heart of the family she will be beyond missed, but is now at peace reunited with the love of her life, her husband Ken (a.k.a. Gampy).

A graveside service will be held at 1;15pm on Thursday September 10, 2026, at Chenango Valley Cemetery, 120 Nowlan Rd. Binghamton.
