Michael Defrancisco

Michael F. DeFrancisco, 83, of Chenango Bridge, passed away at home May 21, 2023 with family by his side. Michael was a graduate of North High School and was a dedicated landlord in Binghamton for many years. Mass and breakfast at the Ritz or the Spot Restaurant was how he spent many of his Sunday’s. WildWood New Jersey is the vacation spot where he and his family created many memories. He more recently enjoyed his nightly walks with his favorite four legged friend Sophia and coffee with his wife at McDonald’s. His five grandchildren meant the world to him.

Michael was predeceased by his parents. Joseph and Beatrice DeFrancisco. He is survived by his wife of 60yrs; Diane DeFrancisco, his children; Kevin DeFrancisco (Tammi DeFrancisco), Korin Spencer (Dale Spencer), and Lindsay DeFrancisco

and his grandchildren; Hannah Cashman, Jessica Petrucci, Christina DeFrancisco, Riley Spencer, and Jonah Thompson. The family would like to thank the team of home health nurses who helped with his care.

A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Hillcrest, NY on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at 1pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Broome County Humane Society, 167 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, NY 13903.
