Nancy Jean Pratt

Nancy J. Pratt, 71, passed away September 1, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones at home after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Kuhn & Tommy Paden; sons, Jim Pratt & Amber Brown, Bill Pratt; grandchildren, Donnie, Kayla, Jacob, Joey & Karah, Jenna, Harley, Zach, Jeremy; great grandchildren, Krista, Landon, Bella and Damien; brother-in-law, Bill & Linda; sister-in-law, MaryJane; lifelong friends, Kitty Lane & Bonnie Karpel; several nieces and nephews. She had a special place in her heart for Laura Gray. She always looked forward to the time spent baking Christmas cookies at Michelle Dowdle's home. She loved to put out her solar lights in her yard every summer and sit on her porch and watch them at night. She also could be found sitting at her computer playing her games. Nancy enjoyed talking to her neighbors over the fence for hours, she lived in the same apartment for 17 years so she knew the neighborhood well. She loved her collections of Garfield, snowmen, carousels and dolphins. She was a funny, outgoing, straightforward woman who will be greatly missed. She was always smiling even though she was in pain going through her chemo. The family will extend an invitation through facebook for a celebration of life at a later time.
