Nevin proudly served as a United States Air Force Veteran and also spent many years in the Marine and Army Reserves, reflecting a steady sense of duty and a lifetime shaped by commitment and diligent work.
An Electrical Engineer by trade, Nevin brought the same disciplined work ethic to his professional life, with employment at IBM, Singer Link, and JR Robotics. Throughout his career and beyond, he was known for sharing his knowledge with others—generous with what he had learned and willing to help others understand, build, and improve.
Nevin enjoyed building and taking on projects, finding satisfaction in the effort and care required to see things through. He was an APA member and had a love for playing pool, where he was a successful pool player. He also loved the American Bald Eagel and the Ford Mustang.
Nevin was preceded in death by parents, Donald & Eloise Taber; sister, Eloise Ingleby; and brother, Ed Bedell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Taber; daughter, Jeanie Taylor (Howard); son, Steve Taber; grandchildren, Cherie, Leah, & Joshua; and great grandsons, Nikolai and Elliot.
