Patricia "Patti" A. Derr

Patricia A. “Patti” (Keefe) Derr, 78, of Binghamton, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents Edward & Bette Keefe and her siblings Pamela Keefe and Michael Keefe.

Patti was the devoted wife of 29 years to Paul Derr and a loving mother to David Bernardini (Kelly), Sara Bernardini, Paul Derr (Bridget) and Christi McCoy (Thomas). She was the proud and cherished grandmother of Cassidy, Samuel, and Eli Nowik; Jaden, Chase, and Alexis Bernardini; Megan, Erin, and Molly Derr and Reagan and Reese McCoy. She is also survived by her siblings James Keefe (Chris), Kevin Keefe (Cami), Colleen Keefe, and Kathleen Tackett (Mike) and sister-in-law Marge Keefe.

Patti worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where she cared for others with compassion and dedication. She expressed her creativity through knitting, quilting, and crafts and enjoyed playing golf. Her strong faith guided her in all that she did. Patti found great joy in her Methodist Church community, where she shared her time, talents and warmth with others. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. She loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, celebrating life’s simple moments together with laughter, pride, and endless love.

Her gentle heart, creativity, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, 918 Front Street, Binghamton, NY (https://www.google.com/maps/search/918+Front+Street,+Binghamton,+NY?entry=gmail&source=g) on Monday, October 27, 2025, from 12-1pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 1pm.
