Richard “Rick” Lee Charlier, beloved Father, Brother, Uncle and Great Uncle, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026. He leaves behind his daughter, Andrea Lee Charlier of Middletown CT, his sister Karen Charlier of Binghamton, and his niece Tai Chotas of Binghamton (and her 3 children, Ashlynn, Trevor and Cameron). Rick was born in Binghamton in 1952 as the eldest child to Stan and Betty, and spent much of his life in the Binghamton area. After graduating Chenango Valley High School in 1970, he entered the United States Army. He served in the military until he met Mary Jo Corvo, they married in 1973 and had their only child Andrea in 1974. Three years later Rick moved back to Binghamton. He also Attended college at Uconn for BS Engineering and graduated in 1974. For many years he worked for Davidson Aluminum until he moved to Philadelphia to work for Yarde Metals. He lived in Philadelphia for many years and enjoyed watching the Eagles, his favorite team. He loved sports and tried to never miss a Yankees game on tv. Six years ago he moved back to Binghamton to take care of his father and he enjoyed retiring in his childhood home. His family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 1-3pm at My Uncle’s Place, 120 E. Service Road, Binghamton, NY 13901.
