Richard "Scott" Moser

Scott Moser, 72, died at Willow Point Nursing Home after an extended illness on April 22, 2023. He was born to Richard (Dick) and Wanda Moser on 11/6/1950. Scott attended Binghamton Central HS and went into the Navy in 1970. He served 4 yrs. on the USS Grand Canyon and was able to travel to parts of the world, being stationed in Naples, Italy.

After service, Scott worked for many years as a salesman at the family hardware store, Garrett's Hardware. He was well liked by all his faithful customers. In retirement, Scott was a fixture of the Southside, often seen about walking in the neighborhood.

He is pre-deceased by grandparents Adam and Mildred Moser, and Wendell and Ruth Foote. He is also pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Wanda Moser.

Scott is survived by his brother Eric Moser (wife Wanruedee), sister Rebecca Hudick (husband William), nephew Ian Hudick, Aunt Janice Cole, and several cousins .

There will be a graveside service at Chenango Valley Cemetery, 120 Nowlan Road, Hillcrest NY on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11am.
