

Robert J.(Bob) Hoyt 85, of Binghamton, NY died September 5, 2013. He was predeceased by his father and mother Robert & Edna Hoyt, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Reid & Rita Conklin, and his sister & brother-in-law: Ethel & Duane Ross. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Barbara (Conklin) Hoyt-Binghamton, his daughter Lori Glanville (David Peet)- Johnson City, his son Mark Hoyt-NYC, 6 grandchildren Mindy, Jaime, Scott, Christopher, David & Lexus.4 great grandchildren: Amira, Jaidyn, Antonio & Jaxson. Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Ronny & Jean Conklin-Deposit, Gunther & Pat Ottens-Oquaga Lake, Frank & Janet Russo-Conklin, and Marilyn Conklin-Binghamton. Niece: Barbara (Bill) Casey-Texas, and his nephews: David &( Debbie) Ross-Conklin, & Terry Ross-Florida and many more nephews, nieces, cousins & friends.
Bob was a US Army veteran of WW II and the Korean War, attaining the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. He was retired after 22 years from CEA-Link. He loved sports, especially golf, football, hunting & boating. He and Barbara spent many wonderful travels to places like Hawaii, London, Paris, Switzerland, Las Vegas, California, Washington, Boston, Florida, Maine & Myrtle Beach as well as several cruises. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 (Today) at 4pm at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson. The family will recieve friends Saturday (Today) from 2pm until the time of service. The burial will be held Monday, September 9, 2013, 10am in the Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, NY.
