Robert will be remembered with deep respect and sincere affection for his kind, gentle heart, and the steady warmth he brought to those around him. He found genuine joy in spending time with others, and his presence was a comfort—quietly reassuring, consistently gracious, and deeply valued by all who knew him.
A man of simple and meaningful pleasures, Robert loved to read, bowling and enjoyed outings with his peers. He also delighted in sharing laughter, often telling jokes that brightened the day and drew people together.

Robert is survived by his caregivers and nursing staff at the Courtly House in Owego, as well as his entire ACHIEVE family. He was loved by all that knew him.
Friends are welcome to the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 10-11am with a funeral service at 11am. Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego, NY.
