Roberta (Bobbie) Robinson Pietrosanti, formely of Port Crane, NY. God sent his angel to bring home our Mother, Sister, Grandmother and friend after a courageous battle with cancer on November 16, 2019. She was predeceased by her Father, Howard Robinson, and Mother, Barbara Robinson Moran and companion, Leland Houck. She is survived by her children, Tami Lou Pietrosanti Brown of Endicott and Anthony J. Pietrosanti and daughter-in-law Debby of Johnson City, the light of her life, her grandchild Jareth Pietrosanti, the father of her children, Louis Pietrosanti. Roberta is survived by four sisters and two brothers; Christine Robinson, of Kirkwood, Nancy Gee (Rick), of Averill Park, Linda Sims of Oklahoma, Judy Robinson Peck of Vestal, Thomas (Sandy)Robinson, of Endicott and David (Kim) Robinson, of Arizona, and Uncle Raymond Browne, of White Lake. She is also survived by special friends, Ellie Frantellizzi, Laura Shantillo and Diane Boyle, several nephews, nieces and cousins. Roberta retired from Binghamton General Hospital as a Dietetic Assistant after 40 years of Service. She graduated from Chenango Valley Jr. Sr. High School in 1965. Roberta was a Life Member and Past President of the VFW Auxiliary Post 478 and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 1645. She had a huge heart. She volunteered and tried to help others whenever she could. She was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, NY 13901 and burial will follow in the Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 pm. Donations in Roberta’s name can be made to the VFW Auxiliary Post 478, 528 Court St. Binghamton, NY 13904, for the Cancer Fund or to the VFW National Home for Children, 3573 South Waverly Road, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.
