Sandra Miselnicky, 84, of Hillcrest died peacefully on Monday, October 25th with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Perry and Doris Dimmick, by her brother Richard Dimmick, and by her beloved dogs, Beauty, Sassy, and Miss Molly. She is survived by her husband John of 64 years; by her 3 children, Scott (and son-in-law Chris) of New York City and Hillcrest, Mark (and daughter-in-law Kim) of Glen Ellyn, IL, and Jon of Port Crane; by her 2 grandsons Justin and William of Glen Ellyn, IL; by her brothers Donald Dimmick (and sister-in-law Margrit) of Zephyrhills, FL and David Dimmick (and sister-in-law Francine) of Painted Post, NY; and by her aunt Janice Decker of Endwell, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her rescue-dog, Sparky.
Sandy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was a well-respected Avon Lady for 42 years winning many sales awards & accolades over the years. She took pride in bringing joy and beauty to the many customers she served.
Always polished and put together, Sandy most enjoyed baking, being together with family, walks with her dog, tending to her garden, winning Yankees seasons and keeping in touch with dear friends. She loved her vacations in Gloucester, MA, the fishing trips to Black Lake, and dinners and get-togethers at Cortese Restaurant.
The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 1-2pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to either Alzheimers.org or to the Broome County Dog Shelter in her name.
