Sherry R. Butts, 73, passed away peacefully at Mercy House, Endicott, NY, on Thursday, October 9, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Edna Jenks and her sister Joyce Jenks Hoat. She is survived by her loving husband Ray Butts of 28 years, along with her two brothers Butch Jenks and Gary Jenks and one brother-in-law Ken Hoag.
Sherry enjoyed music including the oldies-Elvis, blue grass, gospel and country.
She loved all animals, especially miniature dachshunds, cats, and bears. She enjoyed making crafts from dolls to crocheting blankets and plastic canvases.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, 2:30 at North Afton Cemetery for close family.
A Celebration of Sherry’s Life will be held for family and friends at the Berean Bible Church, 109 County Rd. Greene, NY on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 2pm. Hope to see you there.
