Shirley A. Rogers

Shirley A. Rogers passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at home. She was welcomed in heaven by her husband (Bob Rogers), parents Clinton and Eva Harding, her son Thomas C. VanVorce and granddaughter Tanya (Piester) Ludwig.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Piester and son in-law Emil. Grandson Jason (Aubrie) Piester, great grandchildren Draven, Elijah and Gabby, cousins Carol and Jake and her very special friend Albert Conti and other extended family members.

Shirley had a love and passion for her horses. Trail riding in the back country and her horse camp

with Michelle was one of her fondest memories. She was the truest animal lover who had a special place in her heart for her schnauzer GeeGee. Shirley enjoyed the great outdoors whether it was riding horses, gardening, kayaking, or mowing. Shirley loved to kick up her heels, especially square dancing.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, 12pm at Vestal Hills Memorial Park in the chapel.
