Steven Aboff

Steve graduated from North High School in Binghamton, NY and entered the workforce. One year later he married the love of his life, Frances (Nametka) Aboff. They celebrated 52 years of marriage in November. Steve worked his way up from the tool shop to retire from Universal Instruments as a Quality Assurance Engineer. During his retirement, he enjoyed driving for First Students.

Over the years, Steve was an avid woodcarver with the BC Carvers and also their President, holding weekly carving groups in his home. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his oldest grandson. Steve was also the former treasurer of the Ducks Unlimited of Broome County and weekly attended the Social Club at the St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Cristin Aboff and Lisa Aboff; and three grandchildren, Codey, Cadey, and Casey. He is also survived by his mother, Olga Wooler, and his siblings.
